References
Your watch, like all other micro-mechanical devices, must be serviced by a 212 Ltd. representative at least once every two years.
Waterproof
As a result of a strong impact, your watch can lose its water resistance without you ever realising. Therefore, if you intend to use it underwater, check its water resistance at least once every 12 months. If for any reason the housing must be opened, ask your 212 Ltd representative to check the watertight seals around the crown and on the back of the housing, and replace them if necessary.
Automatic watches: the self-winding device in an automatic watch keeps it permanently wound while someone is wearing it. If you take it off your hand, it will keep working for another 40 hours. Once it stops, it can be wound manually
Quartz watches: quartz movements are battery powered. Non-lithium batteries last between 12 and 18 months before the watch stops due to energy depletion. Some watches are equipped with an indicator that shows the end of the battery – when the energy in it starts to drop, the second hand starts moving every 4 seconds. When you notice this, replace the battery immediately. If the dead battery remains in the watch, it can damage the mechanism.
The manufacturer’s warranty does not affect the buyer’s rights against the seller or any of the other legal rights the buyer may have under the CPA.
